Air Table Hoppers :

Air Table Hoppers are glass cullet hoppers placed on either one or both sides of an air table. The glass cullet or glass trim is slid into the hopper where it falls unto a series of breaker bars. The breaker bars break the larger trim into smaller pieces. Sometimes a pneumatic crusher is used to crush thicker or tempered trim that will not break on the bars. The smaller pieces of trim are guided onto the steel hinged belt conveyor. The belt conveyor transports the cullet into a dumpster or hopper.



The glass cullet hopper is ergonimically designed according to the customer's air table specs. The hopper's ergonomic design increases productivity by creating a shorter, more natural trim disposal process. There are several different air table hopper designs avaliable for most air table configurations.

The glass cullet hopper eliminates the need for removing glass cullet boxes. This is an important safety feature, reducing the need for forklift traffic, removing the need for projecting trim into hoppers, eliminating the rehandling of large glass trim, creating a cleaner/safer work enviroment
